INTRODUCTION TO THE HOLOCAUST: A THREE PART LEARNING SERIES FOR TEEN AND ADULT LEARNERS WITH MONICA GORDON
Longtime temple member and respected Holocaust educator Monica Gordon will be teaching this three part series in person for members of our community. The learning will be meaningful to those who have studied the Holocaust and antisemitism before, and to those who are relatively new to the subject. Come for one session, or come for all three. RSVP on this page or by emailing programs@sstte.org. All sessions meet in person at the synagogue on Sundays from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.
April 23 - European Antisemitism: 1000-1932
Apr 30 - Germany 1933-1939 and the impact on German Jews
May 7 - World War II and the Holocaust: 1939-1945
Monica Gordon is a credentialed Holocaust educator. She has worked as a Docent-Educator with the Museum of Jewish Heritage since 2011. She was an educator at the Rockland Holocaust and Study Center from 2008-2014. And she was a student at Yad Vashem's Holocaust Educator program in 2014 and 2015.
