Shir Shabbat, 7:30 p.m.
Our extra-musical service, which emphasizes melody over the spoken word, includes instruments that will enhance and invigorate the musical experience. Familiar and new melodies offer a new take on our liturgy and aim to create an enriching Shabbat experience.
Chavurah Service, 7:30 p.m.
In the intimate setting of our Chavurah services we celebrate community and strengthen connections. Guided each month by Merri Lovinger Arian (Professor of Practice in Liturgical Arts and Music Education at HUC-JIR) in collaboration with a volunteer lay leaders, our Chavurah services are warm, welcoming, and spiritually uplifting. Our service leaders carefully craft a prayer experience that intertwines text and music to engage the heart, the mind and the soul of everyone who attends.
If you are interested in leading this worship opportunity, please contact Gerry Cohen.

Introducing... Shabbatarama, 6:15 p.m.
Shabbatarama is the new name for our upbeat, intergenerational Shabbat service. It begins at 6:15 PM and lasts about one hour.. Often, certain grades in our Religious School will help lead the service with our Kef (Fun!) Choir and almost always, our Chai Notes (volunteer instrumentalists) will add their talents to the worship. A dinner may precede or follow the service as well (Check your calendars). Families should feel extra welcome but so should anyone of any age who wants to celebrate Shabbat in prayer and song with our community.
