Toddler Program
Toddler Program (18 - 30 months)
The toddler program is designed to prepare children for a "separated" nursery school experience. In hopes of preparing your children for a “separated” 2’s program, the goal of this program is to effect a gentle separation between your child and their accompanying adult (parent or caregiver). True to the Mazel Tots mission, we will provide these toddlers with a warm and stimulating environment, which will encourage children’s curiosity and help them to grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
Our toddler program's curriculum and nurturing teachers encourage children to explore by:
-
Exposing them to a variety of textures
-
Teaching children basic engineering skills through blocks and fitting and stacking toys
-
Enhancing language skills through doll play, soft toys, dress up and other domestic play materials
-
Aiding agility with use of climbing equipment, steps, balancing activities and push and pull toys
-
Increasing children's awareness through books, art, music
-
And so much more!
Beginning January through May, this program meets on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:15 - 10:45 a.m. when Nursery School is in session. For the last few weeks of the school year we will increase class time by extending the day. From June 1 through June 22 the Toddler class will meet Monday and Tuesday from 9:00-11:15 a.m.
