Join with the Women of SSTTE, on Friday May 17 at 6:15 p.m. for a celebration of Women’s Shabbat NOT for Women Only! Our women will assist Rabbi Brown and Cantor Becker in conducting a special Shabbat Service including new and interesting readings. Following the Service we will join together to share a delicious Deli Dinner ($18 per person - scroll down to register). After dinner, our guest speaker, Shoshana Dweck will speak with us on the very timely topic of "When Everything You Care About is On the Ballot: A Frank Discussion of Progressive Jewish Views on Abortion, Gender, and Equality." 

 

Shoshana Dweck is Women of Reform Judaism's Social Justice Vice President, and is co-chair of ARZENU, the International Federation of Reform, Progressive, Religious and Liberal Zionists, as well as a member of the Executive Board of the URJ.  In addition you will have the opportunity to receive sets of postcards to participate in a very important non-partisan engagement to turn out voters. Scroll down to register.
