An early and abbreviated service with a more informal atmosphere. Families are encouraged to participate in this unique opportunity for our generations to mingle together. At 5:45 p.m. we have a pre-service oneg so worshipers can greet each other and enjoy a nosh together. The Chai Notes, our adult volunteer ensemble, add their wonderful talents to our service.
February 10, 8:00 p.m.
Shabbat Shira (Shabbat of Song) is so named to celebrate the verses of Torah that describe the Israelites' singing as they witnessed the miracle of the splitting of the Sea of Reeds. Each year we add extra music to our Shabbat worship. This year we will celebrate with Seeds of Sun, an Israeli jazz ensemble including Mattan Klein, Yoav Polacheck, Nadav Snir Zelniker and Tammy Scheffer. They will treat us to a Shabbat of Israeli Song that you will not want to miss!
