Looking for a discrete opportunity to do meaningful Tikkun Olam on your schedule?

Twice a month, volunteers are needed to unload food from trucks and bring it into the synagogue and then the next day come and re-pack the food and deliver it to 5 Head Start centers in White Plains.

Food Bank Receiving and Unpacking

Twice/Month on Thursdays, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Unpack delivered food, check in against what was ordered.  Break down boxes, and prep quantities for next day.

Food Bank Packing and Delivering

Twice/Month on Fridays, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Organize and pack a specified number of grocery bags with approximately 10 non-perishable items.  Break down packing materials.  Load drivers'  cars.  2-3 drivers are needed to deliver the bags to the nearby White Plains locations.
