Over the past few months we’ve developed a Zoom relationship with Kehilat Yonatan, a Progressive congregation in Israel, with a view toward creating a “sister” congregation for our respective members.

We invite you to meet Rabbi Michael “Micky” Boyden – live from Israel via Zoom! Join us for a brief ritual service, followed by this topical, interesting program.

After a brief overview of his unusual personal background, Rabbi Micky will share his views on the mix of politics and religion in Israel, from the perspective of liberal Judaism. There will be time for Q&A.

We hope this will be the first of several opportunities to build community between Scarsdale Synagogue and Kehilat Yonatan.
