Join Rabbi Brown as we consider Heavy Metal as a musical genre, and the extent to which Jewish values directly/indirectly inform its sense of rebelliousness. Our evening will include special focus on Gene Simmons (of Kiss) and Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath and his solo career) and their little-known Jewish identities, connections, and activism.
