Members, friends, all are welcome to join with the Women of SSTTE and the Brandeis Group for a fascinating movie: IN SEARCH OF ISRAELI CUISINE, in person, at the Synagogue. This movie is a portrait of the Israeli people told through food. Chef Michael Solomonov leads a delicious and enjoyable journey as a rich, complex human story emerges. We meet ordinary people and food professionals who live and work in a country that is an ethnic hodgepodge. Influences on Israeli food come from Arab cultures, Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean as well as mother’s or grandmother's kitchen.
