Stew Leonard's Candle Lighting with Cantor Becker
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14, 5:30 PM

Stew Leonard's Yonkers store and Scarsdale Synagogue invites the Westchester community to celebrate Chanukah at their annual Menorah lighting celebration.

The celebration begins with Cantor Chanin Becker of Scarsdale Synagogue leading traditional Chanukah sing along, followed by the lighting of a 21-foot menorah.  After the lighting ceremony, all are invited upstairs to the conference room for potato pancakes (latkes) and apple sauce, jelly donuts, hot cocoa and juice.

Please bring a new, unwrapped gift for children in need.

Chanukah-Themed Family Shabbat for Pre-K - Grade 6
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1

Designed for all Mazel Tots and Religious School students and their families to worship together, this service helps us all experience the joy of bringing in Shabbat.
​

It's an Indoor Picnic: Bring your own picnic dinner and blanket and we'll provide dessert! No charge but donations welcomed.

  • 5:30 p.m. ​- Shabbat Family Fun with take-home craft, games and activities!   
  • 6:00 p.m. - Shabbat Songs and blessings.  PJ Library story too!
